Of course, spending time relaxing on the beaches is also a favorite among visitors. Numerous public beach access locations can be found along Beach Road, which is located to the north of Crescent Beach. On the south end of Siesta Key, visitors enjoy visiting the less crowded Turtle Beach, where an abundance of seashells can be found. Visitors interested in visiting an even more remote location may prefer spending time at Palmer Point Beach, which can be found to the south of Turtle Beach. In all, there are nearly 50 miles of waterways and canals located within Siesta Key, which means there are plenty of opportunities for visitors to enjoy the water when vacationing on the island.
